Sign in with a code by email or text

There's no password: type your email address and enter the six-digit code we send you.

Paddlit doesn't use passwords. Each time you sign in, you type your email address and we send you a six-digit code.

Steps

  1. Choose Sign in at the top of paddlit.com.
  2. Type your email address and press Send me a code. Use the address your invitation was sent to.
  3. Find the code in your email and type its six digits, then press Sign in.
  4. If you work with more than one organisation, choose the one you're helping now.
  5. If you're on more than one event, or have more than one role, choose where you're working. Otherwise you go straight in.

Owners land on their events. Managers land on their event, door volunteers on the door screen, and pledge collectors on their own home screen.

Getting the code by text

When the code screen offers Send to my phone instead, press it to get the code by text. It only goes to a mobile number you confirmed with a code when you set up your account, so if you didn't confirm one, use email. Email it instead switches back.

If the code doesn't come

  • Check your spam folder, and that you typed the address your invitation went to.
  • Wait for the timer, then press Resend the code. Each new code replaces the one before.
  • Press Use a different address to start again with another email.

Good to know

  • A code works for 10 minutes. Five wrong tries and that code stops working, so ask for a new one.
  • If you ask for too many codes in a short time, the screen asks you to wait a few minutes.
  • If the screen says Nothing to sign in to, the code worked but your account isn't on an event right now. Usually the invitation went to a different address, the event has closed, or you were taken off the event. Ask whoever invited you to check.

Nobody from Paddlit will ever ask you for your code: not by phone, not by text, not at the door.
